In Product Rules, you decide what customers may exchange to, return, get refunded for, and whether to extend the return window — all per market (country) and per product.

Where: Settings → Returns → Settings → Product Rules

Choose market via Change market.

🔧 The rules (per market)

1) No Exhange-to
Products that cannot be selected as exchange targets (e.g., bundles/pack offers).

Note: Works only with Shop Overlay 2.0.

Example:

  • “Starter Pack Bundle” cannot be chosen in the exchange step.

2) No Returns
Products not eligible for returns (e.g., customized or made-to-order items).

Example:

  • “Jersey with name ‘ANDERS #10’” → customer cannot create a return.

3) No Refunds
Allow exchanges but block refunds. Useful for clearance/outlet items.

Example:

  • “Archived Snowboard” or “Outlet Parka 2022” → exchange allowed, refund blocked.

4) Extend Return Period
Add X days on top of the normal return window for the selected market.
Applies at the product level (including all variants).

Example:

  • “Premium Boots” get +30 days during a satisfaction guarantee campaign.

5) Force Return
Ensures that selected products must be included in the respective return order if they were part of the original purchase.
Typical use-cases:

  • Promotions/gifts: “Buy X, get Y” → Y must be returned with X.

  • Bundles/accessories: Accessory must be returned when the main item is returned.

🚶 Setup

  1. Go to Settings → Returns → Settings → Product Rules.

  2. Pick the market via Change market.

  3. Choose a rule:

    • No Exhange-to / No Returns / No Refunds: Click Select product(s) and add products.

    • Extend Return Period: Enter the number of days in Extend period by → then Select product(s).

  4. Save and repeat for other rules.

You can add as many products as you like to each rule. Customers see the relevant limitation in the portal if they try to return/exchange an affected product.
