🧱 App Block – View & manage Returnflows right on the Shopify Order page

With the Open in Returnflows block you can see an order’s latest return, its status, and jump straight to the return — all from the Shopify Order page.


🔧 Setup (1 minute)

  1. Open any Shopify order

  2. Scroll to Blocks

  3. Click + Block → choose Open in Returnflows

  4. (Optional) Pin to page for all staff to keep it visible for everyone


👀 What the block shows

  • Return Action: Refund, Gift Card, or Exchange

  • Status: e.g., “Closed” or “Awaiting hand-in”

  • Shortcut to the latest return on the order (Return ID shown)

  • Shipping label: view and download


🔧 Setup (1 minute)

  1. Open any Shopify order

  2. Scroll to Blocks

  3. Click + Block → choose Open in Returnflows

  4. (Optional) Click Pin to page for all staff to keep the block pinned and visible for the whole team

👀 What the block shows

  • Return Action: Refund, Gift Card, or Exchange

  • Status: e.g., “Closed” or “Awaiting hand-in”

  • Shortcut to the latest return on the order (Return ID shown)

  • Shipping label: view generated label and download


▶️ Actions (directly from the block)

  • Go to Return – Opens the return in Returnflows

  • Cancel Return – 🚫 Cancel

    • Cancels the entire return

    • Removes the return action in Shopify

    • Sends an automatic email to the customer (you can add a comment)

    • The return can be restored

  • Close Return – ✅ Close

    • Closes the entire return in one step

    • Performs the refund, gift card, or exchange

    • Cannot be partially closed — use Reset if you only want to approve part of it


❓ Frequently asked questions

Do I need to activate anything first?
No — just add the block to an order and it’s ready.

Can I see multiple returns for the same order in the block?
Not right now. The block never shows more than one return at a time — the latest.

Can I download the shipping label from here?
Yes — click download on the label row in the block.
