“Needs Review” is a return status used by Returnflows to flag returns that require special attention – due to missing payment, failed refund, tracking issues or missed deadlines.
Returnflows also uses visual Alert Tags to highlight critical issues directly in your return list.

🛠 Manually mark a return as “Needs Review”
Open the return
Click “More Actions” → “Mark as Needs Review”
Status will update and appear in your return list
You can remove the mark at any time

In cases like failed refunds, Returnflows will notify your contact person via email.
Check or update this under:
Settings → General → Contact Information
⚙️ Adjust Trigger Settings
Want to change when alerts are triggered?
Go to Settings → Notifications
Find “Waiting for Payment Due”
Click the menu (•••) → “Triggers”
Adjust the rules to fit your process
