🚚 Shipping – Set up your return shipping options by country

The Shipping section lets you configure return carriers, products, and options for each country you serve.

You’ll connect your TMS provider, choose your carriers, and define how the options appear to customers.


πŸ”— Connect a TMS

Returnflows supports integration with:

  • Webshipper

  • Shipmondo

  • Homerunner

Click β€œConnect TMS” to link your account and access carrier data from your TMS.


🌍 Country-level configuration

You can set up multiple shipping options per country.
Each option will be displayed to the customer in the return portal.


✍️ What you configure per shipping option

When adding a new option, you'll be asked to define:

➀ Name & Description

Shown to the customer in the UI – for example:

  • Name: GLS (QR Code)

  • Description: Drop off at more than 1700 locations!


➀ Carrier setup

  • TMS Carrier (e.g., Webshipper) – The account and transport product from your TMS

  • Returnflows Carrier – Used for shop locator and map UI, e.g., GLS, DHL, PostNord


➀ Service

This is the specific return product from the carrier – e.g.:

  • GLS: 15 - Shop return

  • DHL: Parcel Connect Return

⚠️ Be sure to select the correct product, or label generation may fail.


➀ Carrier Add-ons

Optional features that depend on carrier and service:

  • Generate QR code

  • Labelless return

  • Customs API for cross-border returns

  • Liability service


➀ Display Parameters

Customize how this option is shown:

  • Labelless (Yes/No)

  • Show as QR code (if enabled in Add-ons)


➀ Status

  • Active – Available in the return portal

  • Draft – Hidden from customers


🧭 Example: GLS QR Code in Denmark

  • TMS Carrier: GLS SKAGEN-CLOTHING DK

  • Returnflows Carrier: GLS

  • Service: 15 – Shop return

  • Add-on: QR Code

  • Status: Active

β†’ The option appears to the customer as a QR-code return to a drop-off location.


❓ FAQ

Can I have multiple options per country?
Yes – the customer will be able to choose.

What happens if I pick the wrong product?
Label generation may fail – always check with your TMS provider.

What does β€œLabelless” mean?
The customer doesn’t need to print anything – works only if supported by the carrier.
